Happy Thursday friends! I’m here with a layout using the January Hip Kit Club Kits! I started it out with a sheet of the white American Crafts textured cardstock and the pink branding strip from the Pink Paislee Moonstruck paper. I took of the the exclusive Hip Kit Club papers–the blue one with the white chevron-looking pattern–and cut a strip of it to layer over the branding strip, which I used as a border on the left side of the white paper. I then used that same Moonstruck paper to back my photo and placed it on a angle on the bottom left of the page.
I had punched a bunch of butterflies from little pieces of scrap paper I had from the kits, and I knew I wanted to look as if they were flying out from my photo. So I placed them as such, trying to mix the different colored butterflies around. Once I did that, I began embellishing around my photo. I ended up using a few of the floral Hip Kit Club die cuts exclusive to the kits and have them coming out from the behind the photo on the left. On the florals I ended up layering a few of the Moonstruck puffy heart stickers.
I added a few more mini butterflies then cut a piece of that green picnic blanket Hazelwood paper into a tiny banner and used it as a tab coming out from the bottom of my photo. I layer some Hip Kit Club washi underneath it and a Moonstruck puffy sticker that reads “Keepsake” on top. Underneath that I added one of the cork feathers from Moonstruck. I used the “Dream” cork piece from the same pack as my title and placed it above my photo, accenting it with a few of the startburst cork stickers. To finished the layout off, I added a few gold paint splatters. I really like how soft this layout came out!
