Hey lovelies!
I really want to participate in the whole October Daily season this year, but let’s be honest, typical autumn/Halloween colors are just not on brand for me. I wanted something that reflected the season but also felt true to my color scheme and style. I actually put together a little kit from my stash first before I even attempted to create my own printable.
I was surprised to find that I have a lot of products that could totally pass for a seasonal autumn stash. I went with these bright pink mauves, purples, and teals with a hint of black thrown into the mix. I love the mystical, magical feel of these colors together that I was so inspired by my little kit that I created these printables.
This collection is called Mystic Magic.
And I really love it. I love it so much that I created so many elements for it, which you can find in my shop. I got a little carried away with all the things, but it’s always nice to have more elements on hand that match. Of course, I really only created extras that I personally use all the time in my journals. So lots of writing spots!
And to keep me accountable throughout the month and complete a full October journal, I created a little journaling challenge for myself with a complete 31-day prompt list. I’m calling it October Magic. I figured I’d make it a thing and share it with everyone, in case some of you want to follow along!
I tried to make these prompts a bit open-ended. They’re all mostly spooky-themed—if not seasonal—but in case Halloween isn’t your thing, there’s always another take on the prompt.
For example, “Scary Stories” can be a list of thrilling books you’ve read instead of a literal scary story. Or “Something Wicked” can be something totally awesome, instead of something dark and scary. That sort of thing. Anything specifically autumn related can totally be changed to spring for all of you Southern Hemisphere loves.
I also made THE CUTEST little prompt graphic that you can totally take and share on your website or social accounts. I really hope you consider joining me for this month of journaling. You can find more info about it here. Use the hashtag #octobermagic2022 to share if you do! xx
