Hey everyone! I’m back with my September 2018 bullet journal setup. For this setup, I basically kept to the same format as my August setup. I really like the monthly intro spread where I jot a few thoughts and some monthly goals before my month on two page calendar spread. So I kept with it for September! I did a mermaid/moon/stars theme this month and used mostly goodies from Lace & Whimsy. I was very inspired by her Moon Mermaid collection, so I use all of the mermaid and moon bits I had from her shop. I love the celestial whimsical feel of my spreads and that soft lilac/blue color is just so soothing and beautiful. I’m very happy with how these pages turned out!
For my September intro spread, I used a few bits from my Dream Big digital collection, like the ledger paper in the background, label ephemera piece, the sheet music envelope, and card that I tucked into the pocket. I also used an assortment of Prima Marketing washi tape throughout this month’s setup. For this page, I used the pink floral tape* from the Cherry Blossom collection and a receipt tape* from the Amelia Rose collection. The little mini alphas I used were from Michaels and I had fun creating a little poem using the Tim Holtz Clippings stickers*.
The focal pieces of this spread are the moon mermaids I used from Lace & Whimsy. I used a combination of the Moon Mermaids 01 stickers, the Moon Mermaids die cuts, the Mystical Moon stickers, the moon cycle stickers, and some bits from the Celestial Whimsy collection. I did some journaling and added a quote to fill up the space around my little mermaid clusters.
I kept my monthly spread pretty neat and simple. I used a Moon Mermaids die cut in the top left corner of my monthly calendar and the Moon tarot card die cut from The Star. The Moon, & The Sun Tarot die cut pack in the bottom right corner. I embellished the page with some more moon cycle and mermaid stickers and a lot of mini stars. I used these weekly stickers from an old Planner Society kit that just didn’t fit well positioned side by side, so I had to raise every other day of the week just slightly so that they would all fit. I filled the space with these hanging stars so that it didn’t look too weird or out of place. I actually really like how this ended up turning out! Again, I used some Prima Marketing washi tape to fill the space underneath my calendar. I used the pink floral tape from the Cherry Blossoms collection again, along with a celestial tape* from the Amelia Rose collection.
I filmed my entire process of creating this September 2018 bullet journal setup. Definitely check that out below. I hope you enjoy!
