I can’t believe how quickly January went this year! Like, the year’s just started and we’re already in February! Time is so weird when you’re in a pandemic.
Anyway, I indulged in many things this month, but here are just a few of my favorites.
READING
Turtles All The Way Down by John Green. My reading challenge has been slow going, but I did manage to finish the latest John Green book. It was okay–not a favorite. The main character Aza was a bit annoying, but at the same time, I totally get her too. This was a very John Green book, if you know what I mean.
WATCHING
The Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time. Yes, I never got around to watching these films, mostly due to the fact that they were each three hours long and I wasn’t really interested in spending that much time viewing them. But I had a lazy weekend with my guy and we watched all three. I must say now that I get it. They were quite good!
CREATING
my gallery inspiration wall. I don’t think I shared this here, but if you caught my IG post or my Youtube video, I made this scrappy inspiration gallery on wall by my desk. I just gathered a bunch of images, scrap papers, and things that inspire me and arranged them nicely on my wall. So far, it’s made a very nice backdrop for some vlogs.
BEGINNING
my unraveling journal. Finally. I thought very hard on how I wanted to approach this journal this year. I’ve gone with a deconstructed journal and I’m really hoping I stick with it this year, unlike I did last year.My approach to this journal is new this year, so I’m really hoping to have a nice chunky book by the end of 2021.
