I’ve been in a very weird mode this month. I’ve had a sudden burst of inspiration and have been creating a lot, but more so for myself. If you’ve been following me on Youtube, you’d know it’s been a bit quiet over there. But I have been sharing everything I make on Instagram. It’s just nice to take a break from all the filming and editing…
Anyway, here are a few things I’m currently enjoying for this month:
DECLUTTERING
my craftspace. I’ve taken the time out to destash and reorganize my entire craftspace. My little craft area is in my bedroom, so I’m constantly striving to keep it at a minimal. I’m loving how clean and fresh it all looks and it’s been a joy to create in this space again.
CREATING
I’ve been playing in my scraptherapy book as well as in my Artist in Bloom book, without feeling the need to film everything. And it’s been such a joy! I know I’ll feel bad about not getting any new videos up, but for the time being, I’m enjoying not having to film/edit much of anything.
WATCHING
another Disney documentary. Waking Sleeping Beauty is about the Disney Renaissance in the 90s, primarily the revival of the Walt Disney Animation Studio. It’s so amazing to me that during a time of prosperity for the Walt Disney Company, there was A LOT of turmoil–even two deaths!–within the studio. It’s so crazy what art and magic can happen during such circumstances. Again, I left the film feeling so inspired.
